| What methods to use on AL. |
Etch out corrosion with acid, ecthes fine lines for primer and paint to adhere. ALCLAD, wash primer only no acid, acid will eat AL clad. Zinc Chromate primer for chemical barrier from electrolyte and paint for chemical protection. Complete process quickly, dont sit around. |

| Magnesium cleaning process is ??? |
Grit blast with clean beads. Inspect with 5-10x magnifing glass. Remove additioanl material 2-3 thousands with 240-400 grit sandpaper. Treat with 55 solution of chromic acid to neutralize salts. Water wash, Comp. air dry. |

Use emulsion cleaner or solvent, nothing to heat metal. Commercial paint remover for paint, oil, grime. No chemical treatment for rust or corrosion. |
